Spectacularific!
I went today to find out when I go to orientation at Hollywood. I found out that I have to go this Saturday at 10:00 am in Illinois. But the good news, well, great news is that I'll be starting as a shift leader. That is a bit of managment, so I'll be getting paid a bit more than minimum wage. I'll also get to open and close the store. So much more responsibility than what I had hoped for, but it'll be more money for it.
I also got to meet with America and Courtney. We are really coming together nicely. It's great to play with someone who knows what they are doing. And the fact that they have been writing together for so long helps a lot. They have a bunch of songs already, so all I have to do is write over what they have. Thankfully I have had enough time to know what works and doesn't work. The best part is that I feel like a part of a group that wants me there. The last two bands I was a part of fell apart because of the fact that one of them sucked and the other I wasn't a real part of. The first band I was part of wanted me there, but then never called with a time to practice. They just left me to play with myself...in a way. The second band fell to pieces after writing two songs because one of the members didn't know what they were doing, and I got sick of it and exploded. Now, I feel like we can actually make something work, and hopefully make some beautiful music. I feel so awesome after practicing with them. We played today for nearly three hours, and I didn't want to stop.
Now I sit here all alone, trying to decide what I want to do for the night. Perhaps I will write something, but most likely, I will just watch wrestling and go to bed.
