*for a brief minute there’s a flash, followed an extreme close up of a face with weird purple-like eyebrows that seems genuinely surprised to see something*

*a few seconds later there is a person in the middle of Mahogany town, standing next to a rather large-looking building. The camera is somehow set in just the right angle that if it wasn’t coming from the Pokedex one could easily assume this is on live-action TV*

*…before returning back once more* I had received the summons a few days ago that told me to come to this location. Though the travel felt like I came from across the moon to get here, I knew what I was going to do. I was a man on a mission. A mission of the foulest and wickedest purpose. After all, what more could be expected of… THE DARK HERO AKUTARE?!
*he reaches for the camera and walks around the corner of the building towards a darkened doorway, in the corner of the screen a very bewildered Elekid follows somewhat exasperated* But as I approached I stopped suddenly… my evil instincts were buzzing; I knew something was up. ‘WHAT DO YOU MEAN TEST ME!?’ I yell. SUDDENLY A GROUP OF INVISIBLE NINJAS SURROUND ME AND WRESTLE ME TO THE GROUND!! *the camera is thrown to a relatively close distance, and though it’s a weird angle, it is easy to make out that Akutare is now “fighting” an invisible group of people in a sequence that only makes sense to him*
