(no subject)
Currently importing old Tomas Ledin CDs to my laptop. Just cause I've missed his tunes. They are my only musical childhood memories. I mainly remember one of his songs - "Släpp hästarna fria" ("Release the horses" or "Free the horses", I don't know which is best) - because I felt free when I heard it (apparently I felt trapped already at the age of four..?). He sings about running and releasing the horses, and I remember running around the house yelling those lyrics. I didn't really bother with singing properly in those days...
He's been on TV lately, and I was reminded by all of this. Today, I heard him sing "En del av mitt hjärta" ("A part of my heart") and it hit me that I absolutely adore that song.
