Overall, Billy likes Tommy. Sure, Tommy acts tough and like he doesn't care, and he keeps telling Billy off for his twin theory, but Tommy could leave any time, and he hasn't. That says some good things about him. But then Speed also exasperates Billy because he keeps getting mad at Billy for the crazy things other people say and do when Billy tells them about the twin theory. And then they have these completely different worldviews that keep clashing. Speed's probably right that Billy needs to start living in the real world, but Billy disagrees in that he thinks he already is.
...Hopefully that makes sense.
Russel is so-so on Tommy. He likes the attitude, thinks he's fun to talk too, but also thinks that Tommy needs to learn a healthy respect for science and stop calling for the destruction of the labs.
Imoen thinks the way Tommy presents himself to people is kind of funny, since it can be so easy to point out contradictions. She thinks he's pretty interesting and would probably enjoy talking to him again, but that he needs a lesson on armor class.
Tommy likes Russ, he's fun whether they're mocking each other or someone else. Or both. But he thinks Russ is deluded for calling what he does science, along the lines of naming yourself Dr. Strange. He has no problems with the alchemists because that's magic, duh.
He also likes Russ' self confidence. He doesn't have to worry about Russ piling him with angst or hiding when someone is hurting him. If Russ doesn't want to tell him who stabbed him, that's fine, it's obviously not Ari beaten housewife syndrome.
Imoen is gaaaaay. Well, not really. She just pings Tommy as asexual. She doesn't seem to get a lot of stuff/has a really different cultural view, so he doesn't expect her to get sex either. Although he wouldn't be surprised if she was a perv. The point being ... um ... she's pretty fun to talk to despite Angst Issues. Which he's now forgetting about because yeah, it's not like he can do anything about other people's emo. Confiding in him means he'll forget about it in 2.5 seconds flat.
