V for Very Idiotic Roomie
So I went to see V for Vendetta with my roommate. We get out of the theater and the stupid questions begin.
"So he just wanted to blow up the building?"
"What was the point of all those masks?"
"Why was he a bad guy?"
"Was Vendetta the name of the city?
"So his real name is Five?"
"What does Vendetta mean?"
He totally missed the entirety of the symbolism in the movie and just didn't get it. I tried to explain it to him, but you know how frustrating it is to explain something to someone who you know just won't get it? Exactly. I don't think he listened to the dialogue at all. Anyway, I enjoyed every second of it.
