Post-mortem

Nov 09, 2004 18:55

Today was the day of the post-mortem. I didn't find it as bad as last time, and I think that perhaps a lot of the probelms I had with the last one were due to the whole weirdness of the room, the outfits, the fridges, the detachment of the workers. I was expected it this time, and I learned a lot. I don't know if I should write about the details here, as I am sure it's covered by some sort of confidentiality law, but I can say that it was a very unusua way to meet the six others there, who are studying for their MSc. Only one fainted.
I also spent the afternoon in the Art in Medicine dept., and got all the ages and sexes of the skulls right today. I felt good about that. Another achievement came in the form of my MSc thesis, which I actually found in the Graduate Office, after having feared that it had disappeared. I read some of it and was really pleased! I had forgotten a lot of it, but it read well.
Sorry to everyone that I haven't contacted for a while, I have been so, so busy. But do not fear, I will be in touch.
