Out Of Gas
I need a better door lock.
The cats like to have the run of the house. They've managed to break the door jamb down enough that they can throw their weight against it and open the door. Last night I put a large heavy object in the way, hoping that they would not be able to open the door. I was wrong. Somehow they both managed to get in without actually knocking this large heavy object over... so the door closed behind them with out them able to open it again. So they played on my desk, under my bed, and on top of me all night log. I went to bed at 11 pm, because I needed to be up by 7:30ish, and out the door. I've been awakened every half hour since 1 am. But not awakened enough to actually be able to get up. I was exhausted. I didn't sleep.
I need a better door lock I'm thinking a piece of 2x4 with a notch cut in it to put under the door handle, and a rubber foot to wedge against the floor.
Any time the roomie has company over, either in her bed or in the house, the cats bug the shit out of me in the middle of the night.
