Who needs Humbrews anyways?
At last I had a Monday night off. At last I was heading to Humbrews in search of an open mic to play at which I had to do nothing but show up. No setting up, no breaking down, no worries over time, etc. I called up a few friends, most of whom were willing and ready to go. Wouldn't you just know, Humbrews would be closed? Oh well. All worked out in the end though. Devin and I went to APD's, then went to Ed's place, hung out a bit then passed the guitars around for our own little song circle until about 1:30. It was a nice night. We decided to make it a regular occasion, every week rotating meeting places. We intend to add players to this gathering. You know who you are. ;)
