on sharing

You know what's sad? You can never actually share your whole life with someone.
I don't even mean it like in "live happily ever after"; and of course you can't share every memory you both have saved for all the years of your life. No, even if we speak about "current events" - we can't share everything.
I have a man, and he'll never go dancing with me.
I have a girlfriend, and she'll never go to a zombie movie with me.
I have a best friend, and she'll never go jump off a cliff with me.
I have a brother, and he'll never go skiing with me.
And so on and so forth.. you can never be with someone completely, there will always be something (s)he appreciates that you don't, and vice versa. Of course, I don't mean completely weird cases like dissolving in someone; then there are no more two people, actually, and speaking/walking/doing anything with yourself is a totally different story.
Even if you want to open your life for someone, share all of your experiences and impressions - you can't. We're all too polyhedral, too versatile, too.. different. Even within one person. You're always someone else with someone else, and you're always missing a bit of yourself.
And that's so sad.
