Uh, yeah, update on life. I've been having some more difficulties writing, recently, because of the blown-out Microsoft Word, but now that I've figured out how to use Google Docs, you can expect stuff in July. *spends far too little time writing*
I'm pretty much on break now that my sister's in summer school and my parents are out of the house for exercise and work. I usually spend my days walking around and puzzling out ideas, but nothing much is happening. I'm afraid I'm really boring, compared to everyone I know.
Oh, and I got the female character meme from yonho - Chris from Pokemon Special.
Comment on this post and I will name a lady in the realm of fiction. Give at least 5 reasons why she is awesome on your own journal and spread the love.
1. Chris is the only character to date who has completed the pokedex. Red, Green and Blue seem to have given up on it, and the others never even tried.
2. She didn't need her starter to make up a team - she had six pokemon with her already. Nobody else seemed to have any more than three (Ruby), not counting Sapphire, who seemed to be borrowing her family's pokemon wherever she went.
3. Chris has a mom. Yeah, I know, but her mom is the only one that actually does anything and goes out and has pokemon adventures without having to live vicariously through her kid. I'm not sure if this counts as a Chris point, though.
4. Very nearly catching Lugia - if not for the fact that Pryce beat her to it. I think it was funny, because Gold and Silver were all being 'oh noes we can't catch it without our gear', and she just kicks the pokeball right into its vital spot. Speaking of which...
5. Kicking her pokeballs. Besides the pool cue method, I think that's the coolest way to capture or release pokemon ever.
6. She takes care of orphaned children during her spare time, and even makes sure that any profit from working for Professor Oak goes to them.
