New Motto
Over the weekend, I heard a song that had a few lyrics that really struck me. These lyrics I will adopt as my new motto for life when things start going badly or a "bomb" drops on me or things just feel like they're going completely out of control. It's four lines, and three are the same, but as simple as it is, it says exactly what I try to say to myself.

I've always kept the thought in my head "Something better is coming" in these situations. This song just really does it for me. It makes it easier to hold on.
People are going to disappoint me. They're going to let me down. I'm going to let myself down, and yes, I will let others down. It helps, though, to believe that everything is gonna' be alright. That things are going to make a change for the better. I need to sleep. I've got a RIGHTEOUS headache.
