(no subject)
mnyaaaaa, sleep want much (in other words, I hate early starts on new years :P)
The last weekend has been a long one. Monday saw the commencement of marathon naruto effort. Thankyou crew for patience with finishing a fairly long mission (though was slowed a bit by some ppls talking out of game stuff when GM was trying to describe stuff - GM Smites). More on RP laters :P
Pit fights were interesting, though I can see imbalance in the force unless Cadfael starts winning some more. Spent time bumming at raven2909an discovery the documentary The Gamers. Players take note - things that annoyed the GM in that annoy every GM :P. Also take note, anything amusing the GM is likely to work out well :D. Saw Day the Earth Stood Still with eskiie(her christmas shout) and went quilt shopping. Movie not quite what expected but still pretty awesome. Crashed under raven2909's couch and semi watched Prince Caspian/Snored/Hit with pillows. Finally got home to proper sleep about midnight Tuesday, realised I had not drunk any water since 10am Monday :D
Wed saw newyears celebrations. me_ninjakittywas very kind by not describing my singing :P Amazed by kashiichan's awesome voice.
RP stuff under cut:
After the harrowing events of last episode, this one was a lot nicer, with playful fluffy jackals, bards with albino birds. cute little puff bugs and reasonably sized snakes. There was an epic battle where peoples got to prove they are awesome without Jounin help.
The Jounins were sooo pleased with how their protojee's went, that they gave friends/family/interested parties copies of the FULL mission report.
Am placing the topic of next mission (Tues 6th due to popular demand) in the hands of the players, the choices are:
a) Follow up about the Master: Investigate reports of fleshformed creatures in the eastern forest
(reward: 9000ryo) Probably more than 1 session. 1 vote
b) Follow up about the Master: Investigate reports of unusual acitivies in the volcanic region
(reward: 9000ryo) Probably more than 1 session. 1 vote
c) Library Assistant: Librarian needs a hand with "tasks" outside the city (ongoing missions).
(reward: techniques) For those with a DnD itch. 2 votes
d) Where's Weaver?: Why has noone been able to find Weaver for the last few weeks?
(reward: unlock mystery character, peity points) 2 votes
e) Council Mission: Catch the thieves before they can escape.
(reward: 3000ryo) 1 vote
f) Council Mission: Investigate a disturbance in a peaceful country village.
(reward: 3000ryo) 2 votes
g) Chuunin Exam: 3 episode epic plus flashbacks.
(reward: promotion, level up, possible death) 2 votes
h) Players own: Something different that players want to follow up.
(reward: ???).
Unless otherwise described, they are all quick, action packed filler missions. I'll write up whatever has the most votes by monday 1700, vote early, vote often :D. For the short missions, ill keep number of NPC's minimum to speed it up. If you want more numbers or a Jounin, it will reduce the rewards :P
Now that I've written up the class NPC's, players are welcome to use them for filler missions if they want to play something a bit different or want particular skills. Any out of character actions may be considered non-canon.
