I assure you, my average is MUCH slower than that... I think I'm still buzzing from my second viewing of The Avengers last night, coupled with WAY too much caffeine. Plus, I've read War of the Worlds before.
It says I could read War and Peace in 15 hours and 19 minutes (if it didn't put me to sleep first), or LotR in 12 hours and 29 minutes... which even when I had uninterrupted free time as a teen, would have been a wildly optimistic estimate. I reckon it took me closer to 20 hours to read it back then.
