test post from Deepest Sender Firefox Sidebar App.
ETA: Whoa, it worked! DS rocks!
*ahem*
Now what was my agenda again?
Oh, yeah. Firefox Add-Ons.
- Compact Menu 1.8.1 ~ Because that damn menubar ain't used anymore 'cept for those uber-rare occasions. Now it's merely a button on a toolbar. /relief
- Copy as HTML Link 1.1 ~ Because I'm lazy tired of doing it the ol' manual way.
- Download Helper 2.3.4 ~ Coz you never know where inspiration could be lurking...
- Internote 2.1.3 ~ Lil sticky notes on select webpages take some strain off one's brain from having to wrack itself for the reason you bookmarked them in the first place.
- Tweetbar 1.0 ~ Because Twitbin ain't responding. Is there an update to this? It's still bugging out on me.
- Deepest Sender 0.8.0 ~ For the utter convenience of being able to type and post from one's sidebar.
- El Jay Icon Maker 0.6 ~ When one just hafta have that pic for an icon. Then tinker with it later.
- Livejournal Addons 5.3.7 ~ Because getting updates from the status bar without having to load the flist is LOVE.
- LiveJournal Quote 0.5 ~ refer to above item wrt being lazy tired.
- NaNoWriMo Meter ~ currently disabled because it's still frickin' August! Yeah, I want it to be November already.
The best reason I have for *finally* DL'ing Firefox is disappointment with IE7 for its constant lag. Sure the MS browser is "prettier" in general, but I gladly gave up design for efficiency and more user functions. Plus, the option to restore tabs? How could I not give in?!
Right now, I'm still scouring
Firefox Add-ons, downloading and testing which ones fit my browsing pace.
Any suggestions, tips, hacks, etc? I'm especially keen a TwitBin tutorial. The buttons don't work, there's not even a login balloon! Although the ads are in perfect condition. Ugh. /sarcasm
