Due to my blog-hopping of all the websites of my favorite podcasts, I came upon
Evo Terra's Twitter page. And because Evo is my god pod Master podsphere Yoda, I signed up for my own
Twitter account and am now hooked. Thanks, Evo. ♥ 'Nuff sed.
Which brings me to
Jaiku...
Jaiku's main goal is to bring people closer together by enabling them to share their presence. For us, presence is about everyday things as they happen - what you're up to, how you're feeling, where you're going. We offer a way to connect with the people you care about by sharing presence updates with them on the Web and mobile.
I like Jaiku a bit more because it's like Twitter on crack, read: also acts like a Social RSS Aggregator. You could add all your RSS Feeds from LJ, Blogger, Tumblr, Twitter, Del.icio.us, Digg, Flickr, Last.fm, etc. It is absolutely amazing! *fans self* The geek in me can barely contain her geeky excitement.
To quote from
iStalkr itself...
iStalkr is a web app that allows you to create a lifestream (based on
Jeremy Keith's Lifestream concept) tracking all your RSS and ATOM feeds for services you use, like
Digg,
Del.icio.us,
Ma.gnolia,
Flickr,
Last.fm,
Google Reader's Shared Items,
Tumblr,
Twitter , etc, and create a time line of your activities. You can paste this time line data into on your blog or use the data in other apps. iStalkr then utilizes that data socially, like twitter, where you can monitor your friends time lines and other people can monitor yours.
Now while Jaiku posts timestamped entries from your added feeds, iStalkr keeps track of all feed activities. iStalker is not meant to replace your RSS reader, but simply to act as an online feed catch-all.
As for Last.fm, from the way I'm planning to use the service, I'd say that it would probably sate the music lover. I've yet to explore every tool and solution that it offers, but it's looking good, so far.
So, in conclusion...add me, add me, ADD ME!!! XD
