I’m going to bet that Jim Butcher is a Buffy fan himself. I’m pretty horrible at spotting these things (totally missed the Spike-Halfrek connection until I read “Old Wounds”), but I did find these awfully familiar names:

Ragged Angel Investigations - Restoration of Faith
Spike - Storm Front, Fool Moon
Alison Ann Summers - Grave Peril
Besides, Harry gets to rescue both of the little girls. Coincidence? I think not. (And I’m not doing a Buffidic Erdős number connection, either.)
