I meant to tell you, your place reminds me of Lynda Barry's collages in "What It Is" (Andy got that book for us, I haven't finished it but the art in there is fucking great). You could shoot little still lifes (sorta like flightviolation's, but including your own old photos and personal stuffs) and use them to illustrate stories. Maybe!
