"The important part: Dmitri's voice was superb. I really think he has not "peaked" yet. I'm not sure if he has the power he did when he was a little younger, but his subtle nuances, his diminuendi, and just the feel that he has for the music and is able to get across to his audience are incredible. I know, I know, some of you have heard someone better, maybe last year, maybe in the 1950s. That's OK. Dmitri is by far the best baritone I've heard in person and I envy you tremendously if you've heard even better."
