My psychology said that it always get so philosophical when talking to me. Have you ever heard a suggestion that goes something like this: “life isn’t about following your dreams or looking for happiness but to accept life for what it is”?

I have two things to say about that. One of my first thoughts was: “If life just is about accepting, why do people still makes babies?”. Two, the suggestion probably is right. I have known for a long, long time that I have dreams that could never come true - getting university education, travelling/backpacking, writing - I have know it, given up but never accepted it. Here’s the problem, I don’t want to accept that I have to give up dreams, but I have no realistic way of reaching them. Giving up, accepting and lower expectations, is that really what anyone want to do?

Yeah, this is the problem in my life, and so far it hasn’t helped to talk about it. Actually that’s another problem, what to do when it doesn’t help to talk about it?
