Hypersexuality in men with Asperger's?
Hello! I have sort of an odd question for the Aspies here, but first a little background.
I'm a female Aspie (diagnosed when I was 20), and currently in a friends-with-benefits partnership with my best friend, whom I met in high school. Although he's only been diagnosed as bipolar, I am convinced he has Asperger's as well, as he fits so many of the signs and symptoms. We're both 31, and I have a lower than average libido, probably due to chronic low-level depression and a medication I take. He, however, is pretty much hyper-sexual. He is aroused very easily, and would be thrilled if he was able to have sex three times a day. I was wondering if research has ever shown any positive correlation between a high sex drive and Asperger's/autism spectrum disorders? Thanks for any info you guys can provide!
