Boy with Asperger's arrested for sitting outside a library

The story, from what I understand from the article, is that this boy, called Neli, who is an Aspie, walked to the library one morning and found it wasn't open yet. So he sat down to wait for it to open, and someone from the library called the police to report a "suspicious person" sitting outside the library who "might" have a gun. (Neli happens to be black; it is suspected that racial profiling may be involved.)

He got tired of waiting at some point and walked to school. When the police caught up with him and demanded to search him, he resisted and they pepper-sprayed him. Reports differ as to what happened next, but one police officer was injured while fighting with Neli. Neli is now detained in a psych ward and is facing prison time.
