I wasn't a crappy activist today! :D
I was in a room at school, when a teacher was talking to another one. She said briefly "The back of my hair looks so retarded today" and I caught it. It took me a second to realize a teacher had said it.
Needless to say it bothered me for a while. I asked a couple of teachers for advice, and finally I came to the descision - I was going to say something. If I tried to say 'hey, don't do that' to every kid that said it in my school, I'd be labelled weird. But this was a teacher. So.
After lunch I found the teacher. She was talking to two other girls, so I waited until they were done, and then she said to me "I heard from Mrs. Trainer that I kind of offended you earlier." and I told her that I figured she didn't even realize she said it, and she apologized! And she also said she had foot-in-mouth incidents all the time, and I said that Asperger's is nicknamed Foot In Mouth Syndrome.
But I did something good today! And I didn't get mad or anything! *beams*
