In 2007 I was literally diagnosed with Aspergers Syndrome. It answered a lot of questions I had, about a lot of things. Anyone in a similar boat??
I also have Social Anxiety Disorder. Kind of came with the package so-to-speak.
Also why doesn't the government recognize it as a disability? Is it really that new a diagnosis? I'm not trying to get SSI by any means. I'm trying to get specific job training, and they STILL need proof.....oy vey.
I have been fired from a job for not disclosing the disability upon interview. I feel it's on a need to know basis. If something crops up where I feel it's going to become an issue I'll pull aside and tell you. What job issues have you come upon.
The most funny thing about this is, the moment I tell someone I have this. (Those that need to know) all of a sudden they're really surprised I can stand up for myself. heh
