Like minded or not.

I've been off LJ in general and have switched my journals around.
I've had major chaos going on in my living status too.
A very important realization I've had is how different people with AS are from each other.
I've been perseverating on what traits everyone with AS shares and which make someone autistic or not.
People have a lot of opinions on this of course. People on the spectrum seem to differ in opinions more than medical opinion does. Autistic people's views on all issues would be influenced by being on the spectrum of course but also vary drastically. In particular it seems that my view that autism is not a gift but a disability mainly is not very common .For instance, I have a social impairment among everyone, NT or AS both. I'm not going to focus on my flaws totally because that had held me back long enough. I just want to hear from people that are like minded about the disabling aspects being the major point in the autism spectrum and not neurotypical persecution. I'm just trying to hear from other people in this community who want support more than activism.
