Bisexuallity and Aspergers

May 29, 2008 07:26

I'm an openly Bisexual woman and I have Aspergers. This is a big problem, because, with Men I have at least a 50% chance that they are interested in me, women are another matter. I have no idea unless it is blisteringly obvious about women. I don't know how to flirt, or even how to show interest. I'm scared of opening my mouth and making a BIIIG mistake. There aren't really any 'girlie' bars around here. There are gay bars, but I don't know if they have dyke nights or whathave you. I was wondering how other queer or bi Aspies, deal with it? I mean non-hetro sexuality outside certain settings is so dependent on a glance, a bod languge, an instinct. How exactly is it possible to get a partner of the same gender when you can't see the signals?
