For those of you who also have sensitive hearing, is there a brand and/or specific model of washer and dryer that you'd recommend?

Most people probably wouldn't like my washer and dryer because they require effort and patience. But I don't have hookups or space for a conventional washer and dryer and I love the freedom these have added to my life

We just purchased a set of Tromm by LG. Remarkably quiet front loaders.
A lot pricer than I would have picked myself but they do a remarkable lot of things.

We have a washer & dryer made by Whirlpool that is perfect, I can't give you the exact model number though - they are a white front loading, energy efficent set.
