We just got a company-wide memo today saying something to the effect that by the year 2010, our department (executive marketing) may move down to Texas.
I really really hope this isn't the case. For the forseable future, this is the job for me. Potential for growth and movement, comfortable and secure... a job I could have AND have kids someday. I can't even begin to process the idea of moving... but it might be what is supposed to happen... I don't know. 2010 isn't that far away... its only 4 years. What is weird is that roughly 4-5 years is when we thought we'd sell our house and when jay's son would be ending highschool. Ehh...
I'm nervous and worried. I will have to see what I hear from other people as to how they interpreted the memo.
