I love the little touches, like the whole deal with Lincoln putting change into the phone and then stopping. Almost like he feels guilty that he dares to yearn for something when Michael has lost so much more in comparison.

I think the characterization works so well for Michael. He has shouldered all this responsibility, not just for Lincoln, but for everybody in a way and now it's suddenly gone and it's like *loss*. Not because he liked it so much, but because one moment it's there and in the next it isn't.

I'm so curious about whether the brother relationship/dynamic will change next season. They talked about it a lot, but I always figure to better not get my hopes up just in case. Writers promise a lot after all and only a fraction of it ends up on screen.

I did like how in the finale Lincoln finally got to interact with more people again, Abruzzi, Sucre and such. Naturally partly because Michael was chained up. I noticed how quiet he was in the scene where he is driving the car while Abruzzi, Michael and T-Bag are arguing in the back.

Sigh, 2x01 can't come soon enough for my taste!

Also, for some reason, I love the idea of writing about them in Mexico. No idea why.

Must be the sea, the sand, the air :D And lets face it, they are going towards Mexico :D I mean it fits right in with what we saw in Brother's Keeper, Michael talking to that guy and saying that he is going to take them the other way around. It fits.
