I Am A Genius (Or Really, My Brain Works In Odd Odd Ways)

Jan 21, 2006 21:37

Ok first, because all the cool writers are doing it...

1. Very little to no dialogue
2. Fairly short, generally less than a 1,000 words
3. Angsty, the characters are generally not in a happy situation
4. Introspective
5. Few physical descriptions of anything
6. Very few commas
7. Names are hardly ever used
8. Absolutely NO plot whatsoever
9. The characters never get what they want
10. The piece ends with a tragic sort of punchline

And secondly, I spent a little over an hour working on these, they are way too much fun in a frustrating oh-my-god-I-have-to-get-this sort of way....so, lets see if you all can figure these out...apparently, if you can get 19+ you are a genius =)

1. Example: 24 H in a D = 24 Hours in a Day
2. 26 L of the A
3. 7 D of the W
4. 12 S of the Z
5. 66 B of the B
6. 52 C in a P (W J)
7. 12 S in the U S F
8. 18 H on a G C
9. 39 B of the O T
10. 5 T on a F
11. 90 D in a R A
12. 3 B M (S H T R)
13. 15 P in a R T
15. 3 W on a T
16. 100 C in a D
17. 11 P in a F(S)T
18. 12 M in a Y
19. 13 is U F S
20. 8 T on an O
21. 29 D in F in a L Y
22. 27 B in the N T
23. 365 D in a Y
24. 13 L in a B D
25. 52 W in a Y
26. 9 L of a C
27. 60 M in an H
28. 23 P of C in the H B
29. 64 S on a C B
30. 9 P in the S S
31. 1001 A N
32. 1000 Y in a M
33. 15 M on a D M C
34. 12 D of C
35. 88 K on a P
36. 2 S to an A
37. 8 P in a G
38. 5 D in a Z C
39. 7 DS
40. 1 SS for M but a H L for M

And yes, I have all the answers, so feel free to ask if it starts annoying the shit out of you, as it did me =)
