Wow... 2 years? Really!?
Yes, really. I guess it has been two years since I decided to update this thing. Shame on me. So yeah... I guess it wouldn't be a surprise to hear that a lot has happened in that two years. I might lead a pretty boring life, but something was *bound* to happen in all that time.
In no particular order, here's the rundown.
- I gained all the weight I had lost back... plus 10 pounds. Go me.
- Clayton is doing some seasonal work for Parks Canada in Ingonish and loving his job. This is his second season there.
- I quit Quality Cameras after having to put up with way too much crap.
- I've been working at The Source since October of '08. It's alright for a job, but it's easy to feel burnt out.
- Elania will be starting Grade 3 this year. She is growing up so fast.
- My dad passed away in June of last year. The day before Elania's 7th birthday. Hard to believe it's been that long.
- We're no longer in the in-laws' basement. Our apartment is ok, but the neighbours suck.
- I want a house in the worst way.
- We had to buy a new car. Our '99 Jetta finally had one too many repairs to make to pass inspection. We now have an '06 Golf. It's red.
- My house is a mess. Go me.
- I'm sure there's a lot more to put here, but that's the big stuff.
- I now have to drive up to Ingonish to pick up Clayton. Yay.
