I miss birthdays from when I was a kid. It feels like such a non-incident now and that depresses me. I dunno. It was a good day and all, but it was just a day like any other, which is sad in my mind. Maybe it is because I am so far away from my family and such. Oh well. At least this year there was cake.

I don't think I've had a particularly memorable birthday since high school. Not even my 21st was very exciting, as I was not yet at Whitman and had no friends. *sigh*

I am wondering about the trip. What do you think? Fly into Edinburgh on the 24 of August and fly out of London on the 10th or 11th of September? Should I get it now so I don't wuss out later when I have less money? I think I should. Can we plan the intermediate flights/travel later? Let me know. <3 aspen!! We will have a good time!!

Sounds like a plane! Flying out of London may add a day of travelling but it is easy to get to from anywhere, so it may be easiest as we haven't picked our middle destinations yet. Yeah, we don't need to pick those right now, but the sooner the better as prices will only go up. Yay!

So it is strongly looking like I will fly to Edinburgh about Tuesday the 25 (due to time zones) and should fly out Sept 11 (cuz I am wacky like that).

If there are any possible conflicts please let me know now, as I intend to order in the next 24 hours.

I leave on flight AirFrance flight 3623 at 9 am from London (LGW) on Sept 11 (best day to travel!).
