Positive Vibes Please....
I am so stoked! I interviewed this morning for a job that I'm really pumped up about. I'd be supporting the three top executives in the company and NO ONE'S EVER HELD THE JOB BEFORE! That means I'd be entering a totally clean slate. We'd all be able to develop our relationships with each other without any prejudices from a predecessor. What an awesome opportunity! AND, as if that wasn't totally great (sorry to you folks who don't get the zen of being a "secretary"), this company also pays base salary plus quarterly bonuses, and for the past SIX YEARS, the annualized bonuses have added up to 110% of the employees' base! That means after my probationary period, I could be making over twice what I am now.
Let's see, money, benefits, great location, nice people, nice offices, what's not to like? I called the recruiter to thank her for setting up the interview and she told me that I'm considered one of the top candidates, as well. Wish me luck!
