I made lasagna last night. It wasn't particularly authentic, but I thought it came out pretty well. I used pre-made sauces (1 spag and 1 alfredo, mixed) - mixed in some hot italian sausage and spinach too. The filling was ricotta with parm and italian spices. For mozz, I used the tiny ball mozz instead of shredded. I messed up my layering a bit and I think I messed up how to put on the filling (I did sauce, noodles, sauce, ricotta, sauce etc) so the ricotta and sauce got all mixed together, actually I liked this because I don't like the taste of the ricotta filling typically. I also forgot to put mozz in the middle.
Also the hot italian sausage I got tasted more like ground beef with tobasco. Def not happy with that. Would just use regular sausage in the future.
