(no subject)
we had a gang of scooters parked out front for a scene here... curious passer bys were wondering what we were doing. who are these young kids with a tall american holding a giant boom microphone?
i have to stand there and pretend i know what i am doing...because really all i can do is feel it out and run with it. this was probably one of the most fun nights.
we had only found the location the night before, and just simply asked the owners if we could shoot there. no permits needed! they hung around watching us with smiles, and when we wrapped there at midnight, they still served us cold drinks.
all we had in exchange were thank yous and a hope to immortalize them forever. every time we walked by after that, they would just greet us with a "ni hao" and smiles.
there is always more... but where does one begin?
