It's been a relatively eventful week, I'm skipping a lot...

You know what I hate? Cleaning out my University email box. It's so freaking full.

With the super bowl party, a bake sale in the engineering building, and birthday celebrations to eternity (Lance and Peggy Sue are now legal!), I've had a lot of chocolate cake this week. This definitely qualifies the week as good.

Most of my volunteering in APO has been fraternity-serving until this week (helping out with rush and fundraising). I got to help wrap and decorate valentine's boxes to be distributed (once filled with goodies) to a poorer school district so some of the underprivileged kids won't feel left out on the big day. I had fun and made some lovely boxes. I really love working with paper as my medium.
Yesterday we helped get dogs and cats adopted from the Bella Vista Animal Shelter. Last year a puppy mill or two was busted, so a lot of the local shelters are approaching capacity. At least one of the dogs I was watching got adopted. There were lots of adorable fuzzy puppies there. I am a dog person.

Tyler is "team manager" for the APO wallyball team. Either the scheduler is bitter and lonely or doesn't really like their significant other, because the entire tournament is scheduled for Valentine's Day. So, I'll be spending Tuesday cheering on my team, which isn't that bad. I think we're rescheduling date night...until Saturday?

Yesterday, it snowed a lot (well, relatively), Tyler met my parents, I had a strange green punch, and I had my requisite overdose of drama, as has been the trend of late.
There are certain personality types I will never understand. All is well in my world...except that I wish my hair was darker.

shenanigans, apo/service, friends, tyler
