On Again.

In recent days I went back through all my old journal entries and tagged them. It made me slightly moody...going through all my ups and downs and boy issues. So on our daily phone call Wednesday night I mention this to William, telling him after reading about the Shelby breakup again I was a little sensitive to being used and strung along as someone's backup girl. Of course, I told him, I didn't really think he was doing that and not going to force great decisions out of him. He said I had every right to be a upset, and he felt so bad putting me through all this, and I was absolutely not a "backup girl" and I should know it wasn't like that (and, for reals, I do know that), and angst and woe. Then he told me that if for any reason I told him I just couldn't wait any more and gave him a "break up with me or be my boyfriend" ultimatum, he would have to choose the later. I, of course, put no such ultimatum to him...because I'm a such damn nice girl and all. A patient and divine creature, if you will.

Yesterday, I had the "privilege" of working two very long shifts at work...and Wednesday they didn't do the floor cleaning like they're supposed to, so I got to scrub the wood floors on my hands and knees. Lord, it never seems hard in the movies but I got all sorts of dizzy and achy and worn out doing it. NO FUN. I got home at 11:59 p.m. with only a moderate tip (but I did get to indulge in free chocolate covered strawberries and steak!!).

William: "I really do want you."
Alex: "...aw, thank you."
William: "And not just like that, miss sexual pants."
Alex: *laughing* "Well what's a girl to think? When a boy says that he usually means, 'I want your body.'"
William: "I want YOU. I want your you."

Oh, and he, without my prompting, said he didn't think we should be broken up as long as he still wanted to be with me and asked me to be his girlfriend again.
William: "Are you going to make me say it?"
Alex: "Well, yes."
William: "I want you back"
Alex: "As your girlfriend?"
William: "Yes, I want you to be my girlfriend again."
Alex: "Okay, yes."
William: *sigh of relief* "I'm glad we're back together."
Alex: "I am, too."
William: "You knew it would happen. You knew I couldn't hold out forever."
...later...
Alex: "You know, I should have made you wait longer before I answered. So it seemed like I had to think about it."
William: "Haha, I'm glad you didn't."

I really need a new purse, I've been looking online everywhere for an original handmade bag that suited me. The toaster purse is not currently being sold, unfortunately. I want something interesting and original that's still functional for my needs (carrying my necessities - large wallet, cell phone, keys, various makeup and knick knacks - on my shoulder in something that can be worn with my school messenger bag).
