Next week I start my new job as a waitress! My poor college student experience is almost complete! I would eat some ramen noodles to celebrate, but I used them all...so I'm microwaving rice-a-roni rice pilaf and eating an orange for dinner instead. It is a very drippy orange.
I'll be working lunch shifts weekdays and some evening shifts on Saturdays at the Rice Village on Dickson. I'll be paid almost minimum wage (which, in case you didn't know, is simply smashing for a waitress position where the average salary is ~$2.50-$2.70) plus tips (which are pooled from servers and the sushi bar and split among us after the kitchen's cut). I've been reviewing everything I've learned, from eating out and reading customers_suck (haha), in my head all day. O brave new world.
This weekend I'm going down the Hot Springs to visit my grandparents and will get to see William as well. Yah for boys. As of two days ago, we have been going out 7 months. We exchanged snuggling pillows when he left...he says I'm supposed to drool on his.

I'm working on making my own lj mood, which is basically viciously thieved from the neko theme-set with a few animated changes here and there. I'm slowly replacing cats with pigtailed ladies...it takes a long time, I've been working on it for 3 days now (and once it's "done" I'll probably go back in to change more things and add new animations for moods that are repeats). The joys of paid accounts.
