ANTZ!
Oh my God the world's largest ants are taking over Harlan! Here is yet one more thing that makes me twitch! Ha, Allison, I told you I have neuroses! But really, I cannot deal with ants, and these ones are big, really big. Grrr. I am completely disgusted right now. I killed like a billion this morning. And I swear there is NO food in my room. I blame my annoying hedonistic neighbors. Drat! Take your plague elsewhere!
On another note, I had the most wonderful weekend. I went on a retreat for my church's college group, Connect. Not only was there spiritual insight and renewal, I had a lot of fun and bonded with people I didn't know very well. It was nice. We talked about the book of Joshua, which is all about courage: "Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go." (1:9) Well, basically, that is really what I needed to hear. It's simple but easy to forget.
