[All Erik had to do was call. That's all he had to do, and she'd come to him. So that's what he'd do. She felt distant to him and Erik wanted to mend this. What better way than through music?
So he calls for her, voice soft and beckoning. Difficult to ignore. Difficult to resist.]
[As if Chrissie isn't feeling bad enough about being kept away, now this. She had told herself back upon meeting Anna that her relationship with her master did not effect her, that she was not jealous.
Who was she kidding? Of course she was jealous. She'd never had to share the attention of her Angel before and now she was unable to see him (altogether if Raoul had anything to say about it) and hearing him call to the other.
She stares at the communicator in her hands, feeling suddenly very forgotten and very unnecessary.]
I'm sorry that I am unavailable to you, master.
[Well helloooooo jealousy. Her tone sounds sad and petulant. This likely won't be the happiest of days for poor Chrissie. A good thing she can't see what's happening in that room of yours, huh, Erik? :( ]
[Christine, you have no idea how much it pains him to be away from you like this. He haets that boy more than anything. But hurting him will give you a sad so there's little he can do about it right now. But don't you worry, he's got a plan in the works. And they will be together again soon. I promise. 8(]
You've nothing to apologize for, my dear.
[And he's really glad you can't see what's going on his room. Cause he'd feel worse than he already does.]
[She hates being away from you this long, Angel. She wishes that there was some way that she could have her time with both of you. Well .. when you're not with ANNA and all ..
His voice causes her heart to lurch and her stomach clenches almost painfully.]
Your time and tutelage are both precious .. it is apparent I do not take advantage of either sufficiently.
[Did her voice catch a bit there? Or was it your imagination? Yeah .. that would be terrible. ;__; Master, let Chrissie make it better!]
[Of all the things that she was expecting him to say, this should surprise her the least. He was he teacher after all .. Nothing more, nothing less. Why do they all lie to themselves?? Everyone knew he was more than just her teacher! Why wouldn't he inquire about her practicing?
Even so, the question draws a really jealous bitter sounding laugh. Why should she bother if was taking Anna as a pupil on a notmal (preferred) basis? However, she nods, because she had been practicing. She never wished to disappoint her Angel, despite their limited time together; she lived to please him and perform his works as they were meant to be.]
I have been, master. I would not leave such a piece as you've written unattended. It is more lovely for it ..
[He can hear the bitterness in your voice, Christine. He can hear it and it pains him, like a stab in the chest. You're breaking my his heart, Chrissie. He so hates to see you like this.]
Christine, I...
[Erik hesitates. He's trying to decide what to say here. He wants to tell her he loves her. But he's always wanted to do that in person, face to face. Besides now wasn't the time for that, what with Anna possibly still in the room and Raoul's location unknown. So he'll settle for something a little less weighty, but no less true.]
[She hates this bitterness that is swarming inside of her, wishing she could just make her way to his room and speak with him in person. She'd never been afraid to speak to him about anything before .. but that wasn't possible now. If she were to go to his room, more than likely Anna would still be present and she didn't wish to disturb ..
Her stomach knots tightly at the path that thought leads her down. She didn't want to think what her master and his newest pupil could be doing. After all, he was a man and she was a beautiful woman, and her talent was unmistakable. She closes her eyes and collects herself, willing away any number of things she shouldn't even be concerning herself with. He was her teacher. He was more than capable of making his own choices .. wasn't he?
He begins to speak and her eyes fly open and she stares at the communicator in her hands, willing him to speak. Willing him to say it, but not knowing what it is. Or did she

[Christine is not too far off the mark in Anna's regard. Erik hadn't expected to come to care for her as much as he had. Was it love? Erik wasn't terribly sure. It certainly wasn't what he felt for Christine. The poor girl could rest assured, as there would never ever be another to take her place in his heart for as long as he lived.
Still, Erik certainly couldn't deny that he felt something for Anna. He would be lying to himself if he did. But Christine did not need to know that. Besides, Erik wasn't even sure what to call it. He had never been in love with more than one person at a time before now. So he couldn't even begin to sort out the feelings.
His brow furrows at her words. Even if it was said without really saying it, it would be nice to hear he was missed too. Erik sighs, almost resignedly.]
[Even if his reply were to be taken completely literally, it still would cut as sharply as it manages to. She closes her eyes again, at war with herself and how she is feeling about all of this.
There was no reason for her to be taking this all as personally as she was. He was a man and he had every right to seek the companionship of someone other than her a woman if it pleased him. Wasn't he deserving of any happiness he could manage? The thought makes her physically ill and she lowers the communicator to her lap, rolling her gaze heavenward.
She does not mean to broadcast the next words, meaning them only for a father nearly ten years dead and gone.]
You promised me ..
[She makes no attempt to wipe away the tears as they roll down her cheeks, uncertain when they began or why, exactly, the pain in her chest hurts so. damn. much. Her words are soft as she speaks to her Angel again, a weight pressing on her that she'd have never expected.]
I miss you too ..
[The feed cuts out .. she may, or may not .. receive anything else he

[Erik's grip on his communicator tightens. Her words weigh heavily on him. But please understand, Christine. Erik has not left you. And he never will. For as long as you have a closet and/or mirror for him to hide behind, Erik will always be there to stalk you and obsess over you from afar.]
Christine...
[Fffff he needed to calm her down. He would not rest at all knowing that she was so torn up about what was happening. He wasn't entirely sure if she can hear him or not, but he's singing to her. A lullaby he sang to her when she was child. It always helped to calm her down. Maybe things hadn't changed that much between them. Erik could only hope.]

[Just because they could not sing together at present, doesn't mean you can slack off, young lady!]
