Locked to Christine // 10% Unhackable
Christine, I have left something for you as a thank you outside of your room.
Please inform me when you've received it.
[Outside of the fop's door, Chrissie will find a rose with a black ribbon and some music from Don Juan. Past the Point of No Return. He needs to hear it. Come on Chrissie. Sing it to him.]

angel of music,
notes,
throwing wrenches at raoul,
don juan triumphant,
always singing songs in my head,
her teacher; her teacher,
!text,

She had felt wonderful that she had been able to find a mask to replicate his old one. She felt wonderful knowing that he would not be trapped by his own fear of being seen. Cause, hello, he was HAWT!
She glances down at her communicator as the text appears, unable to help the smile that touches her lips. She moves to the door and opening it, glances down. Her eyes widen and she dips to claim the rose and sheet music resting there. Her brown eyes dart around the area, but of course she doesn't see him.
Back in the room she goes, closing the door behind her.
She strokes the stem of the rose, smiling to herself before setting it aside and letting her eyes move over the sheet music. He'd asked her to inform him when she'd received it, hmm? Well, easily done.
She makes certain to lock the post, not specifically from Raoul this time, but because she knows her master well. This is a work in progress. When it was meant to be shared with everyone it would be.
She doesn't think that it might be disconcerting if Raoul hears her singing this piece, as they share a room .. she simply wishes to sing for her Angel.
It's the first time she's sung since taking the cure and nursing her throat back to health, and she warms up properly with several sets of scales before she finds the starting point. She has no one to play for her, but she can read music and so she can sing it.
Can you hear your bb singing, Erik? :D ]

When she begins to sing for him over the comm, he closes his eyes and listens intently. Not just to the quality of her voice, but of the music as well. He needed to hear how well her voice meshed with the song. And so far it was everything he was expecting, save for a few imperfections in the music here and there. But those could be easily rectified.
He could tell, just from the few measures she had sang, Christine was truly what would make this his masterpiece.
Hey, Chrissie. Have you realized it's a duet, yet?]
Wonderful. As always, my dear.

It's beautiful, master .. Even incomplete, it is simply beautiful.
[And my God, but it was. The possibilities of this piece were stunning and she was already eager to see more of it written. Looking over the timing and the fact that her section seems a response, she can't help but wonder.]
It's a duet, is it not?
[Was that her heart skipping a beat right there? A bit of a bosomy rise as she inhales? Why yes to both, actually!]

[He's not entirely sure how to end it. Having not heard All of I Ask of You and all.
He smiles at her revelation.]
It is.

I can tell, Angel .. It will be stunning when it is complete, I've no doubt.
[Was she genuinely eager to hear there rest of the opera? Yes, she was. Despite the fact that this was Don Juan, the opera Raoul had told her about, the Phantom was a musical genius and any piece written by him was deserving of one's full attention.
And then that .. the admission that it was not a solo, as he was normally wont to write. She bites her lower lip, making a point not to presume anything about who is meant to sing it (besides herself).]
It will be lovely with two voices, Angel ..

[He pauses. He should not have said that. Of course it will be completed. Maybe if he adds in a reprise of Music of the Night? Hm. :|a]
Who would you like to sing it with, Christine?
[The answer better rhyme with Derek.]

[His pieces always were, weren't they? A beat of silence, then, at his question. She could say any number of people in response, but ultimately there was one person she would love to duet with, even if it was not whom was originally written in. Even though it clearly WAS who was originally written in, you stupid slip of a girl! Who the hell ELSE are you going to sing it with?! :| ] Still, to say so aloud was both frightening and tempting and she had no wish to upset Raoul, who was likely unhappy about the exchange already as it was. Still again, she was who she was, and an answer he was going to get.. *sigh*
I always enjoy it when you accompany me, Angel ..
[It was the answer they all expected, wasn't it?]

[Certainly is. Everything about you is inspiring, Chrissie dear.]
You flatter me.
[Good answer, Christine. Gooooood Answer.]

My faith in you is unwavering, master. I say only what is true ..
[Oh, Chrissie knows how to bring all the boys to the yard. You best believe!]

[Papers rustle and it sounds as though Erik's getting ready to play.
But it stops for a minute and there's silence.]
Are you alone, Christine?
[He plans to use his sexy voice. He can't use the voice if Raoul is there.]

There is a beat of hesitation, however, as he inquires if she is alone and she feels a momentary pang that Raoul is with her. (sorry, bb!! ;__; )]
I'm .. No .. I am not, master ..
[This is Chrissie hoping terribly that she has not disappointed her Angel. (b'awww)]

Is there some place available to you?
[He's not ready to give up just yet.]

Exhaling softly she speaks again, squaring her shoulders.]
I can sing here, Angel. [My, but can you here the certainty in her voice? She sounds perfectly ready to sing right now, dearest.]
Reply
His voice is quiet.]
You have forgotten me, Christine.
[Been spending far too much time with that boy. He's on the verge of just hanging up. This is a waste of time.]
