Clearly, you're just the person I should be speaking to.

I'm not a craftsman, but I know how things like nets and crab traps go together to get food out of rivers. If I can provide you with some illustrations, perhaps we could work towards taking advantage of the river as a food source.

You give me drawings, I can likely get you the traps made. Know how to make nets myself, them and snares and some of that vein, but never tried to catch a crab. You ain't talking about those big lobster things on the beach, eh?

Haha, not unless you feel like making traps big enough to catch people. I could use your help on nets, though. Claire asked me to help make some, and frankly, I've never made anything in my life that you couldn't drink.

Alright, show you how to weave 'em. Nets aren't hard. They're just damned tedious.

That's very kind of you. And puts me in quite a state of debt. I will owe you quite an amount of tea.

You make tea, eh? Won't be any debt. Just show me how you do it, sometime.

With love, and patience, and respect.

This is the only way to make tea.

Might not seem like it, but it's the only way to make a good blade, either.

Then perhaps I have the makings of a craftsman after all.

Just have to see for ourselves. Tomorrow good for the net?

Tomorrow is perfect. Shall I come with, or without my shirt?

[A bark of laughter.]

Oh, I like you, eh?
