Life's too short and inequity too massive to simply decide against standing up and trying to make the world a better place. It's not what you will have to say to justify your inaction and apathy to others that will damn you, but the willing lies you will have to tell yourself to deceive your heart into believing that in the end: it was better to bear the catastrophe complacently rather than facing it with the entire body of your moral fiber and soul.
