Three Funny Things I Just Noticed

1) The difference between September 1918 and October 1918, while not only maintaining the time-space continuum we all love so dearly, also maintains my sanity. Otherwise I spend fifteen minutes trying to figure out why T.E. Lawrence was trying to convince the world that Faisal liberated Damascus one month after the British and Australians had already done so.

2) The goal of the Cairo Conference of 1921 was how to solve the problem of governance in Iraq. It was not, despite what my notes say, to "mix" Mesopotamia. I gotta be honest, if that was their primary objective, they could have felt much better about their work.

3) Its freaking cold.
