i feel the earth move under my feet
So.. I just got back from Color Printing.. we had a critique today and the class, including Lynn, loved my cross processed assignment..
they said it was wicked high fashion-ish.. which made me really happy.
I also showed some of my crazy paper negative stuff for the Work in Progress part of critique, and that was well recieved as well.
Pat's going to be here in a couple days and i can't wait.
it's going to be a lot of fun,
and i've got mike headin' on down to the clinic for me tomorrow night so that i'm prepared to greet the ol' boy when he gets off BART.
as for everything else..
I'm going to explore more with the layering in the darkroom, cause i think i'm on to something...
and just take it day by day.
the semester is almost over.. (5 weeks?!!)
daammnn.. it's all gone by so fast, it's crazy.
but i really need to get my act together and get all my work done
despite how nice the weather's been or how beautiful it's supposed to be for the next couple weeks.
things that must get done include:
--Color and Design: pattern rough
--Color and Design: major-related re-creation
--Color and Design: mandala
--Color Printing: 10 (or more) awesome prints.. matted... (at least 11x14)
--Visualization: get slides processed and mounted
--Visualization: re-shoot at least 3 assignments
--Visualization: prints for final... matted
--English: type out all journal assignments
--English: work on short story
and.. more will be added as time goes on.
as far as apartments go-- we found a real rad one that over looks the wharf which would really make my life extraordinarily happy.
and a few other awesome ones.. including a GREAT one on Haight and divisadero.
looks like Saturday = going to an open house/ whatever appointments we make.. (Pat... you get to come house shopping... !)

and now.. i'm going to go get some subway and work on color and design..
