well i'm about to retire to that wonderful gathering of down comforters and amazingly welcoming pillows..
but i thought i'd make a little entry.
it's the day of new years eve.. and i cant believe i've been home for almost two weeks already.
where does the time go?
i guess it's because i've been a workin' fool.. back at ritz.
it's so reminiscent of summer there...
I worked there the entire season, so the smells, regular customers, random tasks and routines .. like putting the film into the magazine .. loading paper.. making people's passport photos.. etc all remind me of summer and make me expect to walk out into that wonderful dusky, slightly humid evening setting that i did just a brief 6 months ago.
for new year's eve karyn and i are going to ernie's in worcester for a formal dinner party.
since neither of us have anything formal to wear.. we are going in costumes.
we havent decided what it is we're dressing up as..but i'm sure it will be interesting,
pictures will definitely follow.
i'm definitely missing my west coast tribe who have now all scattered to random parts of this big land..
it's weird that none of us are together..
except the twins and craig, but that's cause they are crazy mainers. :)
anyway.. i think i'm going to head to bed now..
i have to work for a couple hours tomorrow morning.. and then gather up a bunch of random bits and pieces to mix together and create a costume :)
