Wow, where to begin? Seriously, this is an amazing fic, one of the best I have ever read in any fandom, and I am so honored that it's my gift here. :) Your scope and grasp of the asoiaf is so impressive and the overall structure and plot are so well-done. This is such a natural, plausible AU and the story-telling structure worked so well. I loved all of the little interjections between Davos' grandchildren and their views on the story.

There are so many things that I love here!

Shireen: Her characterization, very much her father's daughter, yet with her own voice. I especially love how "take charge" she is and how strong that she is portrayed. Her interactions with Stannis and Davos were wonderful.

Stannis and Davos: so in character, so great to see. I have to say that I laughed when Davos said “…prayed. They prayed together, yes.” :) Davos is such a wonderful presence, both as a narrator and as an active character in his own right.

Winterfell: Sansa as de facto ruler while Rickon runs wild is basically my own headcanon for how things will play out if/when the Starks are reunited. She's so clever here. And I loved your Rickon, his wildness, his pragmatism regarding ruling, his comfort level with the Free Folk, and his interactions with Shireen and Dickon.

Everyone else: Just great, you really fleshed out all of these minor characters like Edric Dayne and Dickon Tarly and brought life to them (those especially; they were so vivid and I really got into each of them as a character).

There is probably a lot that I'm forgetting, but once again, thank you for writing such an amazing fill.
