Brienne
Brienne's fate has been bugging me for more than a year now. Is she dead? Isn't she? If she is, GRRM ended her chapter in a very cryptic way. If she's not, what on earth could have been the word that saved her? Nothing she said up to that point moved the outlaws in the slightest. It's driving me crazy that we may have to wait until the book *after* ADWD to find out for sure, if GRRM doesn't manage to wrap up her storyline there. All I can think is either somehow she was saved at the last minute, or Jaime's next plan is to go hunting outlaws, and he'll find out her fate and avenge her and take back Oathkeeper. It's either that or he returns to King's Landing, which, at the moment sounds like a dangerous prospect for him.
