Apparently a group of folks contacted the same kid -- he's 17 now -- and had him scream "NINTENDO 64!!" again. Here. He became a fad on that site. XD

While the premium cable format is ideal for ASOIAF, I'm a bit iffy. The second article's notes about Deadwood and Rome do bring up that even if it's popular, it's likely to be pricey and TV execs are notoriously fickle about leaving shows on the air to build an audience ( ... )

See, I agree damienroc - it *could* be Earthsea-bad, but it won't affect the quality of the novels. And if George is scripting then we can be almost certain it won't be.

I don't want to get excited too early, because I imagine it will take a lot of time before they're even ready to start casting... -_-
