[ Lightning shifts a little, leaning closer to the 'camera' herself. This is a little strange, you know- it's been a while now since that day in the rain, but the vague memory of it still bites like a knife in her side. You tend to remember being pulled back from death confused, half-crazed... and needing to be taken care of by a little girl. ]

It's just a baby tooth. I'm guessing... this is your first one to come out.

As you get older, you start losing the teeth you had as a 'baby,' and then they're replaced by bigger ones.

Ooh! Then-then a new tooth'll come in! Will it be able to fit where my old tooth was? I don't want it to be too big, 'cause then my gums'll hurt really bad!

[ Well, there's always the possibility of teeth growing in crooked or something, but everyone knows that that only happens if you're evil or weird. Elicia is neither of these things, so... ]
