Count me in with you and bk7. I ♥ non-magic AU's. Though are you really planning to update weekly? For nine weeks? *gulp* Ah, well, I usually don't read WsIP, but I trust you to finish. And this one was too intriguing to stick in the 'to be read' file.

Loved the set-up here. And the characterization of all three of the boys. I'll be interested to see where you go with this.

Thanks so much!
And, yes, I'll be posting a chap a week for the duration of the ass_carnival. And I swear it'll be finished in those ten chapters. *nods*

Ann, I LOVE this so far. So straightforward, so pure and clear. I can relate to these boys, well, mostly Al. I remember sitting in the bleachers watching the cute boys. It's like a sense memory, reading this fic. I also played baseball and later softball, so I know what Corey feels like too. I can just imagine the heat, the smell of sweat, leather, dirt, glove oil, the feel of awful polyester uniforms... ahhh. I'm just glad I don't have to be out in the sun anymore.
I can't believe I have to wait so long between postings. Can't they just give you all the prompts now? *wheedles and whines*
Anyway, you've set the stage for some lovely conflict, angst and first-time experiences. I can't wait. Corey seems awesome. As self-assured as Justin on QaF.

Thanks for the wonderful Beta and comments. Since this is AU and set in the U.S., I really wanted to work on the setting and characterization.

Truly, I'm looking forward to spending my summer with Corey and Al (I relate more to Al, too, but Corey's going to be fun to write).

I'm afraid it'll drive me crazy each week waiting for the new prompt set. *nods*

It took me several days to get past the first paragraph because people kept interrupting me, grr. But now that I've finally made it through the entire chapter, I can say I love it! :D The muggle setting seems really promising, and I can totally see Scorpius going by Corey if he wanted not to attract too much attention. Can't wait to see where it goes!

This is lovely! Your Al is adorable. And your Scorpius is charming. They're dynamite together. I normally don't like non-magic AUs, but I'm enjoying this one. I'm looking forward to more. :)

Also, I like the US setting. The "America=suck" assumption is getting tired. One of those rules invented to sort out drive-by badfic, back in the day, that's having subtext-drift. Every rule deserves a regular challenge, so thank you for making a good one.

Thank you so much! I'm glad I was able to lure you into a non-magic AU. I knew I was taking a chance when I wrote the fic not only non magic, but also set in the US, but I figured I'd give it a go anyway. The only other non magic AU I've written was a Snarry and that was also set in the US (and was well received). The next chapter should be up by Friday.

Great start to your series. Al is so adorably shy, especially about being gay and in the closet. You portray Scorpius/Corey as sort of cocky but also kinda sweet and would treat his boyfriends right.

James is a bit of a jerk, and sounds like a womanizer too. By the sounds of it Harry is in politics of some description.

Can't wait to read the next chapter.

thanks, hun! I'm really enjoying writing these boys. Corey is a bit cocky, but a good kid, nonetheless. James, on the other hand, is everyone's nightmare of a big brother. LOL
